By attending Autodesk Inventor Users workshop, Participants will learn:

  • Interface Enhancements
  • Visualization Enhancements
  • Sketching Enhancements
  • Feature Enhancements
  • Modeling Enhancements
  • Assembly Enhancements
  • Drawing Enhancements

The chapters in Autodesk Inventor Users training course is divided to cover the interface, sketching and features, general part and assembly modeling, and finally the drawing environment. The initial Interface chapter covers the changes that have been made to the interface, getting help, enhancing model visualization, and working with the online services.

Changes in the Sketch environment include how you can now explicitly select the sketch plane for the Base feature, and the new sketching and editing options (e.g., rectangles, splines, equation curves, dynamic trimming and extending, mirroring, scaling, constraints, and dimensions). Enhancements to 3D sketches are also discussed. The feature enhancements include changes to fillets, holes, shells, boundary patches, sweeps, face drafts, and rib features. The new workflow for creating Primitive features is also discussed.

  • Familiarity with the Autodesk Inventor 2011 or 2012 software programs.
