The Software Measurements and Analysis training course defines the role software quality assurance (SQA) plays in the software measurement and analysis process. In the past organizations have collected data concerning the quality of the software, but the correct data may not have been collected to be meaningful. In addition, the data may not be routinely reviewed to determine the root cause of defects and systemic problems. SQA plays a key role in establishing meaningful measures for all elements of the software development process and analyzing the collected data.
